Projects are developed for the purpose of filling a business need that a supporter or collaborator of 1881 Project has. Projects may be a short-term gig or long-term venture and are meant to provide entrepreneurial opportunities for other supporters and collaborators.
The benefit of participating in a project will vary. Some projects will involve payment for services, while others may involve a barter and trade of services. Other projects may offer the opportunity to gain recognition and co-branding with a high-profile brand or person.

Current 1881 Projects
The BLVD Hotel Arts Contest (Aug – Sept 2011)
The BLVD Arts project presents LA’s Famous BLVDs. The BLVD Hotel is providing an 80 foot wall space to showcase 8 artists to paint live September 24, 2011. The BLVD Hotel & Spa attracts visitors from around the world and the new mural will be visible to the hotel guests.
Sponsorship programs are available to local businesses who would like to be a part of this program.
The event will be covered by photographers, filmmakers, news, and media, including K Cal 9, and will include a live DJ set as well as multiple food trucks outside the hotel.
The mural artwork will be voted on by the public to determine the winner. All chosen artists will receive a free night stay at The BLVD Hotel & Spa. The winning artist with the most public votes will receive $1,500 as a grand prize.

White Rabbit is a fast-growing and popular LA-based fusion food restaurant and food truck. The company focuses on Filipino classic recipes and tastes, blended with the creative flavor and approach of American and Mexican foods. The company has been featured on amp radio, KROQ, Kababyan 18, and multiple times on the food channel. They are fast becoming one of the most symbolic restaurants and food trucks of Los Angeles.
